Embark on a journey through time as we trace the remarkable history of Crescent Academy, a legacy that began in 1999 with a vision for quality education. From humble beginnings to global impact, witness the milestones that have shaped our story and continue to inspire excellence in nurturing young minds.
Crescent Academy was founded on May 20th as an Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) Center, welcoming three learners under the guidance of one dedicated teacher.
Embarking on the path to primary education, Crescent Academy admitted approximately 14 students into Class 1.
A milestone year as the school acquired its first van, the legendary KAK 434U, enhancing transportation for our growing student community.
Boarding facilities were introduced, accommodating around 50 boarders. The same year marked the purchase of the first school bus, the matriarch KAV 677V.
Crescent Academy proudly conducted its first Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination with 21 candidates.
Over the years, Crescent Academy has consistently delivered excellence in education, conducting 15 KCPE examinations. The journey began with a mean score of 356 and culminated in 2023 with a remarkable mean of 357.
Embracing change and innovation, Crescent Academy introduced the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), with the pioneer group currently progressing to Grade 8 in our junior school.
Crescent Academy has expanded its reach, boasting a fleet of four school buses and one van, connecting communities.
Our international alumni network spans across Canada, the USA, Australia, Europe, and various parts of Africa, showcasing the global impact of Crescent Academy's education.
With a current student population exceeding 650 learners, Crescent Academy provides state-of-the-art facilities including a computer lab, science lab, sports complex, and more.
Looking forward, Crescent Academy is committed to continuous growth, aiming to further enrich the educational experience for generations to come
